Many Spaniards look at the Moroccans in Spanish cities the way many people in the US look at immigrants from Mexico: some see them as hard-working and eager to make better lives for themselves, some see them as stealing jobs from citizens, some see them as indolent invaders … and after the bombings in Madrid in 2004, many Spaniards see the Muslims as potential terrorists.
