September 4 — HobNob with Indiana’s main political candidates

“HobNob: Meet the Candidates” is the premier political event in Central Indiana, opening the region’s election season. The event gathers the candidates for the upcoming election year in a casual and fun environment that community members the opportunity to interact one-on-one with the candidates.



When: Thursday, September 4, 2008, 5-8 p.m.


Where: Indiana State Museum 650 W. Washington St. Indianapolis

In years past, HobNob proved to be a flashpoint for candidates for Marion County Prosecutor and provided an early glimpse of Mayor Greg Ballard, who went on to stage one of the biggest election upsets in Indiana political history. The 2008 event will take place at the Indiana State Museum along the canal and will include a short program and food and beverage for attendees to enjoy. *NEW to the event this year, Howey Politics Indiana will release its third (of four) Howey Gauge Poll results exclusively at HobNob.
