Norbert Krapf returned to Indiana in 2004, after teaching poetry for 34 years at Long Island University and directing the C.W. Post Poetry Center. Since then, he’s been on a mission to reunite poetry and music. Working with singer-songwriters Greg Ziesemer and Kriss Luckett, Krapf combined poetry and song at the first Indiana Poetry Festival in 2005. He has performed in many other venues and collaborated with jazz pianist-composer Monika Herzig to perform poetry and jazz around the state and release their CD Imagine - Indiana in Music and Words (Acme Records, 2007).
