October 3: “The School Paper: Who decides what is ‘news’?”
What gives high school newspaper reporters the right to be treated as real journalists? If they get the First Amendment, what’s next, protections against searches of their lockers? Join the ACLU-Indiana and its opponents in a discussion.
When: Wednesday October 3 noon to 12:50 PM
Where: Indiana Historical Society 450 West Ohio St. Indianapolis, IN 46202
The panel discussions will be moderated by The Indianapolis Star columnist Matthew Tully. Panelists to be determined later.
