Tan Dun composed the score for the 2003 Ang Lee film “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.” Matinee screening of the film in the IMA’s remarkable Tobias Theater.

Lynn Streuve of IU Bloomington will lead a discussion of the historical “inconvenience” of the film for the Ming Dynasty, compaing the Qing Dynasties (setting of the film) and the Ming.
