The International Center’s “International Citizen of the Year” dinner September 16 will not only pay tribute to the IU-Kenya program … it will recognize a dozen other examples of partnerships between Indiana & Kenya. One is Ambassadors for Children, a pioneer in volun-tourism. Provocate’s John Clark makes a couple of efforts to place The Village Experience (and similar glocal initiatives) in a bigger context when he brings together Hoosiers trying to change the world on November 19, and when he discusses local business and global culture with IndyBANG! August 14.
