Dr. David Ingram, one of the world’s premier stem cell researchers, explains both the science and the ethics of stem cell research.

David Ingram is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Indiana University Medical School and Associate Director of the Section of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Riley Hospital for Children. Dr. Ingram earned an M.D. and M.A. in religion at Vanderbilt University, and did his medical residency at the University of California, San Francisco. He he will clarify the ethical dilemmas posed by the way stem cells are derived and how they are used, or might be used. Along the way, he will lay out in a sensitive and balanced fashion the various ethical responses as articulated by different faith communities and by medical ethics, as well as legal implications.
