Come watch local artists compete for $3000 in prizes as they reveal elements of Indy’s increasingly global character at Garfield Park Arts Center.

Sponsored by the Friends of Garfield Park, the third annual Creative Native Art Competition will engage the entire visual arts community in the creation of their individual “Masterworks” in various mediums, at the Garfield Park Arts Center. The guidelines include:
*Artists must reside in Indianapolis.
*Artists must pre-register through a completed RFP to create work in any medium - work must be based on three themes pertaining to Indy’s rapidly changing Global Community - including Cultural Regalia, History, and Global Culture Today.
*Artists provide all their own materials
*Work must be completed in (2) days onsite at the Arts Center.
Registration is $10 per person. This event is free and open to the viewing public. The exhibit will run until February 28, 2008.
