This is part of the Church of the Saviour’s Great Decisions series. What makes it cool is that for eight weeks the usual sort of crowd of grown-ups meets with students from Lawrence North High School, making it one of the only discussion series in which adults and kids get to know each other as equals.

Long long ago he was drawn to the study of Latin America by the desire to see democratic socialism in the region break the grip that military dictatorships had almost everywhere. Let’s see whether he is happy that his wishes came true.
