Recent product safety scares have thrown the spotlight on the enormous role China plays in supplying products to the U.S. Could the large and growing trade imbalance with China have an adverse effect on the U.S. economy? What role does the undervalued Chinese currency play? Who better to answer these quesitons than Brooke Tuttle, President of LHP Technologies, a new company will focus on cross-Pacific trade and support between companies in the Far East and the United States with a specific focus on U.S.–China markets. LHP Technologies assists U.S. organizations searching for partners in China and Chinese companies requiring logistic support, consulting assistance and marketing and aftermarket services in the U.S. He has served as a materials, manufacturing and distribution/logistics executive for Cummins for 28 years. He recently retired as President of Columbus’ Economic Development Board, where he was successful in recruiting new companies from North America, Europe and the Far East and leading a successful local recruitment and expansion program.
