The IU School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI presents the 2007-2008 Sabbatical Speaker Series featuring:
John Parrish-Sprowl, Professor of Communication Studies at IUPUI. He received a Ph.D. in Communications with an emphasis in Management and Marketing from Bowling Green State University. Dr. Parrish-Sprowl has taught numerous graduate and undergraduate level courses specializing in marketing, corporate and mass media communications. He has been a member of various communication interest groups and a co-editor of Polish/American Journal of Communication and Market Studies. He says of himself:
Arrived at IUPUI in 2000. My research, teaching and consulting have both a domestic and international dimension with much of my work in the past 5 years conducted in post-socialist Europe. Recent publications have focused on group processes and organizational change. Consulting work has been for a range of organizations including both service and manufacturing organizations as well as NGOs. Much of my research in the past 10 years has been action research. Prior to this most of my research was of a more traditional social science nature.
