Financial analyst Glinda Bridgforth is known these days for her regular “Debt Diet” segment on the nationally syndicated Oprah Winfrey Show. She is on the money. And it’s not in a Donald Trump-ish sort of way. Her apprentices are actually sisters and brothers eager to change their lives and educate themselves about finances. In her third release, “Girl, Get Your Credit Straight!: A Sister’s Guide to Ditching Your Debt, Mending Your Credit, and Building a Strong Financial Future,” she shares with readers a comprehensive approach to helping Afro-Americans (women in particular) tackle their financial woes.
