October 31 — Conference on “Combating Anti-Americanism and Populism with Education in Latin America”

A new wave of anti-Populism is gaining strength in Latin America. Join us for a presentation and discussion on the challenges of Latin American Populism and efforts to counter the problem by improving education in the Americas. Populism, weak rule of law, and general lack of access to good education have made emigration to the U.S. the most attractive alternative for many desperate people. Is there anything to be done or that is being done to address this issue? Several Latin American leaders come to Indianapolis to pay tribute to Milton Friedman and discuss their experiences.

When: Wednesday October 31, 8:30 AM– 11:45 PM
Where: Columbia Club 121 Monument Circle Indianapolis, IN 46204

The speakers featured in this program including policy experts, government officials (ministers from Mexico and Guatemala), and think tank leaders, play important roles in Latin America civil society.
