September 11 — Gore Environmental Lecture (as seen in An Inconvenient Truth)
Don’t expect an Al Gore impersonator, but this event will use Al Gore’s slideshow to spark a serious discussion of human induced climate change.
When: Tuesday September 11, 7:00 PM
Where: Eiteljorg Museum
Join Indianapolis business leader, outdoorsman and environmentalist Pat Galyan as he delivers former Vice President Al Gore’s PowerPoint on global warming. The presentation, made famous by the Oscar-winning film, an Inconvenient Truth, uses charts, graphs, statistics and photographs to illuminate what some have called the Earth’s ultimate environmental crisis. No matter what your politics, this is a must-see presentation. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy dinner at the Sky City Café before the program.
