November 16 — Volunteering Abroad

Learn the value and rewards of international volunteer work through a presentation by Peter Walker, a former Peace Corps volunteer and professor at University of Oregon. Professor Walker will be joined by a panel of former international volunteers who will answer audience questions.

When: Friday, November 16, 2007 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Where: Franklin College 2nd floor of the Johnson Center for Fine Arts, 101 Branigan Blvd., Franklin, IN 46131

A reception and fair will provide opportunities to connect with representatives of various international volunteer organizations. This program coincides with International Education Week, an annual event sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education. Admission is free. Presented by Franklin College and Leadership Johnson County.
