November 7 — “Everyone at the Table?: Religious Activism and Health Care Reform in Massachusetts”
Passed with bipartisan support and pressure from an interfaith coalition, the 2006 Massachusetts health care reform mixes public funding and market choice. How did religious activists inject their values into the public debate? Can this effort to get everyone to the table help expand access to affordable, quality care in Massachusetts and elsewhere?
When: Friday, November 7, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Where: IUPUI
Presented by the 2008-2009 Sabbatical Speaker Series and David Craig, Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Adjunct Faculty in Philanthropic Studies.
