February 24: Whither the Professions?

Many observers have commented of late that the professions seem not to be thriving today, not least because our concept of what it means to be a professional has become rather poorly defined. Our goal is to put together a program consisting of one representative from the original medieval professions—divinity, law, and medicine—to address the current state of the professions and to suggest approaches by which we might enhance professional education on our campuses and elevate the level of professionalism in our community.

When: Friday, February 24, 11:00am-1:00pm
Where: IUPUI Lecture Hall Room 105, 325 University Blvd. Indianapolis, IN 46202

Free and open to all. Please RSVP at medhum@iupui.edu or by calling 317-278-1669.
