March 1: “City Farmer — Survival in the Urban Landscape”
An award-winning film depicting one of the most successful community garden movements ever—one that grows more than 1 million dollars in produce annually, which in turn is graciously shared with Senior Citizens, the homeless, and needy families. Part of Fall Creek Gardens Digging Deeper Film & Book Series.As Indianapolis’ urban food movement takes root, join Fall Creek Gardens’ book and film series to catch a glimpse at what’s going on in urban food production around the country. Each month will alternate between a book and a film, giving participants plenty of time to read the selected book before each gathering and ample opportunity to meet neighbors who want to be part of a transformative movement for the city.
