January 29: An Evening with Syrian revolutionary singer Wasfi Massarani

Have dinner with the local Syrian-American community and support the struggle for freedom in their home country. Syrian-Canadian singer Wasfi Massarani has been attracting much attention in North America, Europe and the Middle East for his revolutionary songs. Chicagoan Bara Sarraj was victim of torture by the Syrian authorities in the 1980s. Syrian-American physician Talal Sunbeli has been at the front of many of the most important interfaith initiatives in the US. They’ll be guests of the Syrian-Hoosier community.
