February 4: Asia and India will highlight the International Celebration @ the Service Center

It’s all about Asia, and in particular India. As an official Super Celebration site of the Super Bowl, Service Center hosts three nights of cultural parties and celebrations of authentic music, dancing, food and drink, art, and local and international beers and wines. The celebrations — organized by and benefitting the Lafayette Square Area Coalition and Big Car — are coming together in partnership with many of the city’s cultural groups. Music curated by Kyle Long in partnership with Cultural Cannibals.

When: Saturday February 4 8:00 pm
Where: Service Center for Contemporary Culture and Community 3819 Lafayette Rd.

Cost: $8/$5 with receipt from Lafayette Square area restaurant from that week

Families and people of all ages can visit Service Center when it is also open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 1-4 and 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday as a welcome center for the Lafayette Square/International Marketplace neighborhood and features a Super Car painted to represent one of the teams in the NFL.
