Food Rebels, Guerrilla Gardeners, and Smart-Cookin’ Mamas: Fighting Back in an Age of Industrial Agriculture by Mark Winne is a look at a rapidly growing alternative food system made up of innovative people reclaiming their connections to their food and their health and embracing the great American tradition of self-reliance. Part of Fall Creek Gardens Digging Deeper Film & Book Series. As Indianapolis’ urban food movement takes root, join Fall Creek Gardens’ book and film series to catch a glimpse at what’s going on in urban food production around the country. Each month will alternate between a book and a film, giving participants plenty of time to read the selected book before each gathering and ample opportunity to meet neighbors who want to be part of a transformative movement for the city.
