The JCC will host a free community Earth Day celebration which will feature environmental action projects, hands-on demonstrations, a non-competitive orienteering race, and interactive exhibits. The event will be a fun and memorable way for children and their families to reconnect with the outdoors and the natural environment while learning about the importance of being a good steward of the world in which we live. The overarching goal of the event is to create positive experiences and memories which will serve as a basis for future responsible behavior and thoughful decisions by the particpants.
