Film: “Poto Mitan: Haitian Women–Pillars of the Global Economy”
Film maker, anthropologist and activist, Mark Schuller, will be at IUPUI to screen his new film, “Poto Mitan,” and to answer questions.

“Poto Mitan” shares five Haitian women workers’ lives as they face inhumane working and living conditions triggered by globalization. Through their lived realities, group reflection, and collective action, Poto Mitan presents a human face to the violence economic globalization engenders and gives hope for grassroots alternatives.
