IUPUI conference on “Celebrating the Past, Paving the Way for the Future: The Critical Role of Program Fidelity in Implementing Evidence-based Practices”

A Festschrift for IUPUI Psychology professor Gary Bond’s 65th birthday.

When: Thursday September 24 and Friday September 25
Where: IUPUI Campus Center 420 University Blvd. Indianapolis, IN 46202

Says Prof. Gary Bond of his work: “My focus is on identifying evidence-based practices for helping people with severe mental illness achieve full integration into the community. In addition to studies examining the effectiveness of various psychiatric rehabilitation practices, including supported employment and assertive community treatment, I have also concentrated on developing “fidelity scales,” which are standardized methods for assessing how well programs are implemented. I am also interested in policy issues promoting and/or interfering with the provision of effective services.”
